Privacy policy: mobile app

How the ReBrandOS app handles your data.

This page covers the ReBrandOS app for iPhone and Android. The main privacy policy covers the ReBrandOS website and dashboard, names the company that controls your data, and applies to the app too.

Your app account

  • When you create an app account, we store your email address and, if you sign up with a password, a one-way scrypt hash of it. We never store the password itself.
  • If you sign in with Apple or Google, we store a one-way hash of the account ID they give us and the email address they share. With Apple, that can be a private relay address.
  • We store the date you confirmed that you are 18 or over. You must be 18 or over to use the app.
  • Sign-in sessions last up to 30 days. We keep a one-way hash of each session token, never the token itself. Emailed codes expire after 15 minutes.
  • If you sign up with an email and password and never verify the email, we delete the account after 7 days.

Your brand, scripts and recordings

  • Your brand test answers, including your name, your email and your brand details, are used to build your brand profile.
  • We store your scripts and their earlier versions, your goals and recording windows, and your feedback on ideas.
  • Takes stay on your phone until you upload them. On iPhone and Android, the app keeps them in its own storage, which is left out of device backups.
  • When you record, we also store counts of how the recording went: takes recorded, retakes, pauses in voice follow, interruptions, and recordings you stopped. We use these to suggest scripts that are easier to record.
  • Voice follow and the camera checks for face, light, sound and orientation run on your phone. That audio and those camera frames aren’t sent to us.

AI services

  • Before your first upload, the app asks for your permission to use these AI services, and names each one:
  • ElevenLabs (transcription): The sound from the takes you send for editing. ElevenLabs turns it into a transcript with the time of each word.
  • Anthropic (edit decisions and script rewrites): The transcript, your script, the template you picked, and any change you ask for. Anthropic picks the cuts and writes the captions. When you ask for a script rewrite or new hooks, Anthropic also receives your rewrite instruction and the facts saved about your brand. It doesn’t receive your video or your voice.
  • We keep a record of your choice and the version you agreed to. You can withdraw it in the app under Account. Without it, you can still record, but you can’t upload takes, send them for editing, or ask for AI rewrites.
  • Each AI service keeps what it receives under its own terms for business customers.

Where we store it and for how long

  • Your account and content records are in the ReBrandOS database on our server. Uploaded takes and edited videos are stored on Amazon Web Services (S3).
  • We delete uploaded takes 30 days after you approve the edit, and 14 days after you reject it, cancel it, or leave it unreviewed, or after it fails.
  • An edited video you approve becomes a draft, and we keep it while the draft exists. Edited versions you didn’t approve are deleted on the same schedule as the takes.
  • Transcripts and edit plans are kept with the edit record, so you can ask for changes and the app can learn what works for your brand.
  • Deleted videos stay in a versioned storage copy for up to 30 days before S3 removes them. Database backups are replaced over time, and replaced backup copies are removed after 7 days.

Purchases and credits

  • Apple or Google take your payment when you buy credits in the app. We receive the signed purchase record from them, and we store the product, the number of credits, the transaction ID and which wallet the credits went into. We never receive your card details.
  • Credits you buy on the ReBrandOS website are paid through Stripe, as the main privacy policy describes.

Connecting a ReBrandOS workspace

  • If you connect the app to a ReBrandOS workspace, you sign in to ReBrandOS and pick the brands. We store which workspace and brands you picked, your ReBrandOS user ID and email, and the date. We email your ReBrandOS address to confirm the new connection.
  • For connected brands, the app reads the brand book, owner voice, content history and performance summaries. Videos you approve are saved as ReBrandOS drafts, and your script edits are saved as voice edits on that brand. Your social account tokens stay on the ReBrandOS server.
  • You can disconnect in the app or in ReBrandOS.

Notifications and email

  • If you allow notifications, we store your device’s push token in encrypted form and send notifications through Apple Push Notification service or Google Firebase Cloud Messaging.
  • We send sign-in codes and connection notices by email through SendGrid.

Deleting your account

  • You can delete your account in the app under Account, after you sign in again. You can also download a copy of your account data there first.
  • When you delete it, we remove your sign-in methods, end every session, end every connection to a ReBrandOS workspace, and delete your AI services record straight away.
  • Your personal workspace, with its brand, scripts, uploaded takes, edited videos and credits, is deleted 14 days later.
  • Credits left in your personal wallet are lost when you delete the account. The app shows your balance before you confirm.
  • Deleting the app account leaves connected ReBrandOS workspaces as they are, including drafts you saved to them from the app.
  • Takes and videos saved on your phone stay there until you delete them or delete the app.
